node101 is a blockchain infrastructure and engineering company based in Istanbul, Türkiye. Founded in 2022, node101 was built around a simple goal: bringing the capabilities of blockchain technology into real-world systems and institutions.

Today, node101 works across several areas of blockchain technology, including RPC & validator services, institutional staking, white-label infrastructure, product development and technical consultancy. Our role ranges from operating critical infrastructure for blockchain networks to helping financial institutions integrate blockchain systems within their own products.

node101 operates blockchain infrastructure across a broad range of protocol architectures, supporting more than 101 networks.

Our infrastructure services include shared and dedicated RPC nodes, archive and testnet support, validator operations, institutional staking and fully managed white-label validator services. Through white-label deployments, we allow exchanges, custodians, banks and other institutions to operate blockchain infrastructure under their own brand while we manage the underlying DevOps and operational processes. This side of our business model is also a strong reflection of our general understanding of blockchain: many institutions need to be able to use blockchain technology, but not all need to understand its underlying complexity as deeply as those who build and operate it.

Our infrastructure is geographically distributed across Türkiye, Europe, Asia and North America, with redundancy across multiple providers and data centers. Our geographical distribution is not only critical for the resilience and availability of our systems, but also supports our goal of localizing blockchain infrastructure through helping institutions meet local operational and regulatory requirements.

node101 is ISO/IEC 27001 certified, with information security and operational controls integrated into the way our infrastructure is designed and managed.

To date, more than 50 institutions and blockchain organizations have worked with node101 across infrastructure, engineering, ecosystem development and consultancy.

Our work has included public institutions such as TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye), leading crypto exchanges and custodians such as Paribu, and blockchain organizations and ecosystems including the Ethereum Foundation, Sui Foundation, Mina Foundation, Cosmos Labs, Circle, Monad and Canton, among others.

These relationships span different forms of collaboration. From validator operations and infrastructure services to engineering, research, ecosystem programs and institutional blockchain projects, we work with our partners across many layers of blockchain technology and adoption.

Although these collaborations take different forms, they share a common principle: we aim to build long-term partnerships that can evolve alongside the rapidly changing blockchain ecosystem.

Infrastructure is only one part of node101's technical work.

Our engineering team works across distributed systems, blockchain protocols and applied cryptography, with particular experience in zero-knowledge systems and modular blockchain architectures. Over the years, node101 has developed protocols, developer tooling and applications involving ZK proofs, data availability, interoperability, validators and on-chain infrastructure.

Projects developed by the team include privacy-preserving protocols, ZK-enabled applications, validator tooling and infrastructure products. This engineering background also informs our infrastructure work: we aim not simply to operate nodes, but to understand the protocols and systems behind them.

node101 has also been actively involved in growing blockchain developer ecosystems since its foundation.

Through leading events such as ETHIstanbul, Cryptist, Builders Week Istanbul, hackathons, workshops and community programs, node101 has organized more than 200 events, bringing together over 12,000 participants and 4,000 developers.

One of our most significant contributions to the Turkish ecosystem is the co-ownership of Modapalas, a blockchain and cryptography hub in Istanbul. As a partner in many initiatives led through Modapalas, node101 has contributed to developer programs, events and ecosystem initiatives across Türkiye.

For us, this work shares a deep connection with everything else we do: operating networks, building products and developing ecosystems are different parts of the same picture. Together, these initiatives help make blockchain technology more accessible to the people and organizations that can benefit from it.

node101 is built by a multidisciplinary team spanning software engineering, cryptography, distributed systems, infrastructure, finance and operations. The company is led by co-founders Yunus Gürlek and Mete Koray Gergin, alongside an engineering and infrastructure team with hands-on experience across protocol development, zero-knowledge systems and production blockchain infrastructure.
