Polygon PoS is a blockchain connected to Ethereum, meant to run payments and other EVM applications at low transaction cost. It executes transactions on its own network and sends checkpoints to Ethereum. Secured by its own Proof-of-Stake validators, it is part of Polygon's broader scaling ecosystem.
